What data do we collect?
Apperrific collects the following data:

• Personal identification information.
  • We collect your name and email address to allow you login and use our service.
  • We collect any name provided by your poll responders to show their availability for your event.

How do we collect your data?
You directly provide Apperrific with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

• Register online or create a poll with our service.
• Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our social media or via email.
• Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
• Apperrific may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources: Google (when you login)

How do we collect your data?
Apperrific collects your data so that we can:

• Serve your availability poll and manage your account.
• Email you with notifications in relation to any availability polls created.
• Email you with important service updates.

How do we store your data?
Apperrific securely stores your data within encrypted data stores at Digital Ocean. Apperrific will keep your personal data for up to 3 months after your last poll expires which defaults to 6 months, but will be configurable in future. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by securely removing all records from our data stores, and allowing our backup rotation to permanently purge the data within 3 months. Using application defaults, that leads to a total of 12 months.

Marketing
Apperrific will only send you specific infromation about key service updates, and will not send you information in relation to other services or partners, etc.

What are your data protection rights?
Apperrific would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

• The right to access - You have the right to request Apperrific for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
• The right to rectification - You have the right to request that Apperrific correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Apperrific to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
• The right to erasure - You have the right to request that Apperrific erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
• The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that Apperrific restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
• The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to Apperrific’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
• The right to data portability - You have the right to request that Apperrific transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
